Chicken was cold and extremely dry, must have been sitting there for half a day! Chips also very oily and cold half cooked and floppy. Very disappointing
Giving this place 1 star because zero stars is not an option!! Food is below average - which we would still put up with, but the lady with the short hair was extremely rude and definitely has an attitude problem. My husband was too nice to her and didn’t want to ruin our walk by arguing with her. But the lady could really use some customer service skills. You are not doing anybody any favour, we are paying for the food ( which by the way was tasteless) .
This is genuinely the best charcoal chicken I have ever had! Its so juicy and the birds a really big. Chips are so yummy and crunchy, and they don't taste like oil as they do at other takeaway places I have been too. There's a large selection of salads. Price is really good for the portions that you get. I only really have an issue with some of the salads (lettuce is pretty limp) and the mac and cheese was a bit salty and had a funny after-taste. Otherwise, the food is really delicious and fresh! We love coming here to get some quick and yummy food for dinner.
The lady with the short hair always gives a weird vibe and makes it so awkward, talking to other people she obviously knows and making you feel like the biggest inconvenience. Unfortunately for me, the food is really nice and I love their chips and gravy. When she isn't there the staff seem to be more welcoming and friendly.
Everytime I go here I give it the benefit of the doubt. Nope , today I stood in line whilst 3 staff were walking around , the lady serving would rather gossip about people she knows with the customers that know her. Yuck ! Serve your customers first then feel free to gossip - today I didnt need to hear her asking about “what kinda job he got”
