I used to order religiously from here as my favourite fish and chips spot, I even had this place cater for my covid wedding cause it was just that amazing but the last couple of orders me and my husband had made here have been truly mind blowing, not sure what has happened but we used to get beautifully deep fried golden decent size pieces of fish cocktails and for my husband who doesn’t eat seafood this was the only place now he won’t even touch it and for the price you pay it doesn’t seem worth it anymore. Sad to see as a long time customer

I called in recently and ordered a whole chicken and a large container of chips and thought I'd be getting a succulent freshly barbecued chicken but when I got my order home to share with my family I was totally disappointed. The chicken was over cooked dried and leathery, honestly it was the worse take away chicken I ever had. The chips were absolutely saturated with fat and tasted like burnt fat. I don't eat take away often, infact it's been some years and I was totally disappointed in the quality of food being sold as freshly barbecued chicken. Never again!

Went here for a chicken and a burger..at lunchtime.. yes, lunchtime.. waited an hour.. not only the service was poor, lack of communication, poor quality food and the cost, well that was ridiculously high. My own fault for wanting to try this place, I know. But I won’t be back again.

One of my fav places to eat at the townie! I defs prefer this charcoal chicken shop over camden. All the staff are super lovely, and the food is always good. Never disappoints ☺️

Worst take away charcoal chicken ever. Scallops were burnt, pineapple fritters were tiny and raw. Burger was put together like a child did it. Crocquetes were under cooked. Chixken tenders were disgusting
