This has been my go to fried chicken but it looks like the quality is filling apart. Chicken was so small the legs looked like winglet, and it’s $5 a piece. Chicken breast was so dry you can hardly chew. The hot honey chicken was supposed to be tossed with the glaze but instead it was just drizzled on top. What an absolute lazy people working here!

Honestly would give 0 stars if I could. Visited Red Rooster Gregory Hills on 24th May 2026 with my family and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The dining area was filthy when we arrived and we had to wipe down our own table with wet wipes before we could sit down. When I went to order, I wasn’t greeted at all and the customer service throughout the visit was poor. After a while, the lady who took our order came over holding a takeaway bag and asked if it was our order. As we were dining in, we were confused and had no way of knowing what was inside the bag. When we said we didn’t know, she mumbled something and walked back to the counter. We assumed it belonged to another customer and continued waiting. After another 20 minutes, my children were very hungry and kept asking where our food was. I went to the counter and asked where our order was and whether the takeaway bag sitting there was actually ours. The staff member responded rudely, saying she had already asked me if it was my order and that I said I didn’t know. When I asked if this was how customers are treated, she proceeded to raise her voice at me. I told her I would be lodging a formal complaint and she told me to “go ahead.” There were absolutely no apologies for the terrible service, confusion or lack of professionalism. What made the situation even worse was that a man claiming to be the supervisor stood there silently, made no attempt to de-escalate the situation, and never apologised. Australia is known for friendly customer service and hospitality, which made this experience even more disappointing. Basic cleanliness, communication, customer service and professionalism should be expected when dining out, especially with family. Very disappointed with the overall experience.

Not only did I wait 20 minutes in the drive-through line for 10 nuggets and six buttermilk wings only need to get burnt salty rock hard wing. This is the second time I've been disappointed at this place and I will never ever go again. Casula is so much better compared to this place. A waste of money and time utterly disappointing and the service was so poor as well.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Red Rooster Gregory Hills last night. I placed my order through the app and checked out at 5:13 pm. I arrived at the drive-through at 5:26 pm and, despite being the only customer there, I had to wait until 5:40 pm before receiving my order. I honestly don’t understand why the wait was so long, especially considering there were no other cars in the drive-through. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. When I got home, I discovered that 2 of the 4 pineapple fritters I had paid for were missing. Both of the Rippa Rolls were also very cold and falling apart. The chicken, lettuce and mayonnaise looked like a sloppy mess, making them very unappetising to eat. I understand that mistakes can happen, but waiting 14 minutes in an empty drive-through, receiving an incomplete order, and finding that the main items were cold and poorly assembled was extremely disappointing. I hope the team takes this feedback on board and improves both their quality control and service for future customers.

i ordered the reds box and i was excited to have some food witch i thought would be good , i got home and ate i live less than 5 minutes away keep in mind , the food was cold and the burger was absolutely terrible the chicken was dry and chips were un salted and soggy they even forgot to put the chicken on my burger . absolutely disgusting food i chucked it in the bin after a few bites . also looks like there is a lot of bad reviews and they haven’t seemed to do anything about it to make it better.
