Came in for dinner and got the braised lamb, braised beef and sliced beef lanzhou. The flavour of the broths were great and the texture of braised lamb and the beef were spot on. The noodles were not great. We got the thick flat, round thick and round thin noodles which were very mushy and sticky..... the round thin was ok but the other two were not pleasant at all. Not sure if it was not cooked long enough or cooked too long but yeh, the noodles were mushy and sticky. Customer service was great and the restaurant was very nice and clean. Wait for a table wasnt too long and food came out surprisingly quick. Menu items were very affordable.
Had a really great experience today at 1915 Beef Noodles in Hurstville. We ordered the braised beef noodles with lamb skewers and the food tasted amazing. The noodles were rich and flavorful, and the lamb skewers were perfectly grilled. What made the experience even more special was their hospitality. Before taking our order, the staff kindly asked if we were fasting. When we said yes, they brought us dates and water to break our fast, and later even served watermelon as complimentary. They also offered one extra dish on the house. The food was delicious, but the kindness and thoughtful service made it even better. Really appreciated the warm hospitality. Highly recommended if you’re in Hurstville and craving authentic noodles and skewers.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic experience at 1915 Lanzhou Beef Noodle in Burwood! The hand-pulled noodles were perfectly chewy, the beef was tender, and the broth was rich, fragrant, and packed with flavour. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Great portion sizes for the price too. If you’re looking for authentic Lanzhou beef noodles, this is definitely one of the best places in Sydney. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Absolutely love this place in Burwood! The stir-fried beef noodles have the perfect texture and great wok-hei, while the spicy beef noodle soup is incredibly flavorful with a rich broth and the perfect amount of kick. The service was friendly and the restaurant was spotless. A solid 5/5, will definitely be back for more!
Great place to enjoy a bowl of delicious noodles. While 1915 Lanzhou is usually known for their halal handmade noodles, I am surprised to find that their mains are as delicious. Their crispy lamb ribs are so good. We also tried their spicy chicken w potatoes (portion is huge) and a serve of beef chives pan fried dumplings. This place is an absolute hit w the Burwood locals and often, we can see a queue building up during peak hours.
