Absolutely exceptional Cantonese food! My husband and I usually don’t eat beef, but the beef dishes here are the ultimate exception—they are just *that* good. We ordered the dry beef hor fun and the wasabi beef, and both were spectacular. The hor fun had that perfect, smoky 'wok hei' flavor, and the wasabi beef had an incredible kick. We also loved the free-range chicken, which was perfectly tender, juicy, and flavorful. Looking at our table photo in **image.png**, even the stir-fried green beans with minced meat were a standout. Every single dish hit the mark. Excellent food, great flavors, and definitely a place we will keep coming back to in Hurstville!

I had lunch at Canton in Hurstville today and tried a variety of dishes, including San Tung chicken, salt and pepper squid, sun-dried scallop with chicken and fried Japanese tofu, Hokkien fried rice, sweet and sour fish, and seafood chow mein. Every single dish I tasted was absolutely delicious. My favourite was definitely the sun-dried scallop with chicken and fried Japanese tofu—it really stood out in terms of flavour and texture. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

We have been going to Canton for about 5 years now. Most of the time it feels like you’re somewhere in China but that’s what we love about it. The food comes out so quickly & tastes like it’s coming from a kitchen in China. Our favourite is the whole duck & seafood Ho chow 🤤 They also do amazing chicken wings. If you don’t want to much definitely get a delicious noodle/wonton soup 🍜 I shouldn’t be sharing this because it means it’s going to get busier but others need to experience this amazing restaurant.

My expectations were honestly pretty low, but the food was actually really good - I’d definitely come back. The bowl was absolutely full of noodles, maybe even too many to finish, and the wontons had a really good balance of meat and prawn.

Went to have dinner with partner today for her birthday. Bought chow ho and vegetable stir fry. Surprise, surprise found at least 2 caterpillars 🐛 in the bok choi. Other than that - food was decent. Probably won’t come back here though.
