This was my first time dining here. We ordered several dishes, and overall the stir-frying was done well. The seasoning was good too. There’s still some room for improvement, but considering the overseas setting, it’s one of the more authentic Chinese home-style restaurants I’ve tried. With prices continuing to rise, though, the average cost per person is no longer cheap. The restaurant was clean and tidy. It was quite busy during peak dining hours, but the food was served at a reasonable speed. The service was friendly as well. I’d recommend bringing some cash just in case.
One of the best Chinese restaurants I tried in Sydney’s Chinatown. The food was delicious, the portions were very generous, the prices were reasonable, and the service was fast. I especially loved the Beef Ho Fun and the Honey Chicken. Our family of four had a very satisfying meal at a great value. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Chinatown!
This place is legitimately amazing. We got 6 different dishes for takeaway and they were all wonderfully done. Not pictured is the egg yolk bun and the texture, flavor, and consistency of the runny center was awesome. Waitress staff were also very nice and the soy milk is great too!
Discovered this by accident while walking past and it was a such a nice place. Loved the food, the price and the ambience. The lunch special at 17.50 is a great bargain. They offered a main meal and also give you a side dish. I ordered calamari and though it will be 1-2 peices but was so surprised to see almost a whole bowl. I will be back.
The harcao, xiaolongbao and signature spicy dumplings are excellent and must have! The noodles are just standard so if you visit definitely get the dumplings. Reasonably priced and service is fast. It’s a small space so it fills up quite quickly.
