Family lunch for my sisters birthday and we had a fab time! Plenty of dishes kept rolling out on the carts, try the sweet and sour pork and the bbq pork, they are both fantastic. The prawn and scallop dumplings were super generous. The staff made such a big deal of my sister’s birthday and she absolutely loved all the attention, great place for family gatherings and celebrations. They also allowed us to bring our own cake, played happy birthday over the speakers and served it up. Fabulous!! We’ll be back for sure! Shout out to Vincent and the whole team! 👏

We recently had our belated Chinese New Year family dinner at Crown Dragon in Kogarah. It’s one of our regular spots for family gatherings and always a place we enjoy coming back to. The food is consistently good, the service is usually great, and the atmosphere is always lively and upbeat, perfect for big family meals. It was quite busy tonight and they had run out of pippis, but the team kindly suggested a scallop dish instead, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. Always a reliable place for a great meal and a fun family catch-up.

Crown Dragon Restaurant is located within the St George League's Club. We came here for a weekend yum cha. I was tossing up whether to give the restaurant 3 or 4 stars. The meal was by no means bad and there were some things that I definitely liked about it. I just found that in comparison to other yum cha places I have eaten at, Crown Dragon tends towards the average side. The size of the dumplings was good. They were juicy and plump. To me they tended to have very similar tastes and textures to each other though. And later when I came home, I felt a little thirsty. The restaurant was not too big and I found it to be a little on the older side. Service was good though. It was help, friendly and prompt.
