The taste was overall up to par for most dishes. The staff were pretty prompt with teapot refills and brought some specific yumcha dishes as requested. The place is pretty popular on a weekend morning but you should be able to get a table walk-in given the many tables and fast turnover. Specific comments: - The century egg porridge was pretty good as well - lightly seasoned and perfect for a cold morning. The consistency was adequate. - Golden custard bun tasted okay but the filling was not that smooth or even liquid, more of a yellow paste. - Char siu pastry and char siu bao were standard, no particular issues, good meat content and flavour, good pastry/bao texture. - Prawn dumplings had huge chunks of prawns wrapped in soft rice paper skin. Similar comment for the prawn rice flour roll. The filling in the siu mai was adequate in content and seasoning. - The egg tart was really really flakey, and probably made fresh because it was piping hot. Highly recommend this one. - The mango in the cream wraps was sweet but not that sweet, however at least it was not sour or tart. - (Sweet) Tofu pudding has a distinct beany/tofu taste, but I actually like that. It is only minimally sweet which is what I think it should be.

Wonderful neighborhood Cantonese restaurant in the heart of Strathfield. It's perfectly catered for large parties and opted for the Lobster set menu. - Soup of the day: lotus root with pork ribs (6/10) - Steamed Live Abalone (9/10) - Salt & Pepper Lobster (8/10) - King prawns with salted egg yolk (10/10) - Filet mignon cube (9/10) - Steamed egg, tofu and seafood (7/10) - Steamed Live fish with ginger, soy sauce and scallions (9/10) - Stir fried veggies (7/10) - Braised chicken (8/10) The restaurant is quite busy for a Sunday evening, the staff is very accommodating to our big group.

Very disappointing experience. We came here for yum cha today and were surprised by how rude the service was. I politely asked a staff member to help change my plate, but she seemed very impatient and literally threw a new plate down in front of me. What made it worse was that the restaurant wasn’t even busy — it was only about half full — so there was really no reason for that kind of attitude. Unfortunately, this left a very negative impression. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on the service.

This place is very convenient for parking and close the station. The quality of mealy were reasonable but did wait a little bit on the long side. The desert was extremely sweet ( it was not too good for elderly people or anyone with blood sugar levels issues!!!). They do serve vegetarian dishes ( might need to preorder?). The price was reasonable and the services were reasonable.

Delicious food, esp lobster, ginger and garlic with noodles. Ala carte prices for beef, chicken, prawns, vege dishes are very reasonable compared to other suburbs.
