Food was delicious, quite cheap considering the portion of meat, was served very quickly, would come here again!
This is a pre-cooked Chinese fast food join. So the expectations should not be a regular Chinese restaurant. They claimed that they made their steamed dim sum right there rather than came from a factory elsewhere. I agreed as while the taste & texture are ok, their dumplings falls apart when touch, therefore unlikely made by factory. They have chili & soya sauce available for them so not too bad. Given as they’re budget friendly, I would say acceptable. Despite their dim sum has room for improvement, they have the hardware/software & opportunity to make it happen. Not to mention I endorse & encourage the practice of not using factory supplied frozen dim sum like most Chinese restaurants are doing. Fry rice is a bit bland but the black bean beef taste good. Fry noodles is a bit wet & Sichuan Pork is a bit too salty. Eggplant is a bit oily & green beans is tasty, fresh & crispy. In general, food here doesn’t taste as good as regular Chinese restaurant. Given as the dishes are pre-cooked, I suggest it worth looking into the warmth keeping method/hardware & recipes more suitable for this kind of operation (eg stew than stir fry). On the good side it taste a bit like home cooking. I wouldn’t mind at all to drop by for a quick bite instead of going to McDonald’s. But that parking fee here is counterproductive to any fast food join. It would be difficult to compete with, say, Chinese fast food in food court of Westfield.
Good Chinese for the price it charges. Tasty food in a basic shop. Good for takeaway. Good value!
Food was OK. I personally like it since it was not too salty! Price was good with small 2 choices with price of $12 and large of 2 choices $14. Great place for a quick lunch!
Grabbed some yummy dumplings on the way home and found a surprise message on the container. I hope you pass your HSC exam! Don’t worry, you can do this!! ;)
