The food here was decent. Some of their dim sums were better than the ones which are famous and popular among locals and tourists. However, the hygiene could be improved as their cups and utensils had some spot which obviously was not thoroughly cleaned so we had to wash them before use. Their table cloth was only wiped after the previous table left and not changed like other dim sim restaurants. Staff were attentive and quick in service; however tea is self-serve so we had to take the hot pot of tea here and there on our own.
Lovely service & food is delicious. Price is fair and the restaurant is clean. Lady boss is very kind too, her worker accidentally broke some plates whilst we were dining in. She was calm & did not scold her worker but help clean up the mess. Will be back soon!
Food was ok but a few amazing picks. As it was a self service there was a compromise to the hygiene. But to make matters worse, the service is so rude, rush and questionable considering there is less to do but bring and take food. Some training is definitely needed during Saturday lunch rush to keep cool and server all customers. With empty baskets 🧺 left on the table for a while.
Visited for the first time during mid week lunch. Overall, the food is better than: - Kogarah Pearl - St George Leagues - Club Central Yes, I said it. The deep fried dishes were served hot and crispy (as you would expect), the steamed dishes were steamed to order and well made. Normally long queues on the weekend, but no waiting during mid week. Service was good.
2024 vs 2026 Aunties are sometimes nice and sometimes a bit rude? Maybe it depends on how tired they are but we still go back because of decent dimsum in the area. Don’t order the fish though.
