It's a casual dining. The fried shallot spring onion cake is the best!! Wouldn't recommend the xiao lung bao here, but dishes including the sour and spicy soup are pretty good.
I think if you are Anglo and use to westernised Chinese food, this is DEFINITELY NOT for you. If you are Asian and seeking something more authentic than taste of Shanghai, you should give this place a shot. When they claim “northern style” it’s not a joke!
Great food and service! We came as a big group of 11 for a friend's birthday and everyone was pleasantly surprised by how great the food was. We will definitely be back to try more dishes.
We had an excellent meal there yesterday. The spicy chicken with handmade noodles was the best we've ever had amd so was the best bones casserole. Incredible flavours, kind and helpful lady at the counter and even the other customers were so friendly and helpful in us choosing our food. We will be back again soon!

You get excellent value for money, and it’s one of those places where you leave full and satisfied without spending much.
