We got the shallot pancake and two sets of pan-fried dumplings (beef and lamb). The food was amazing, a wonderful pallette of flavours and textures, the peanut sauce was just the right amount of spicy to enhance the rest of the flavours without overwhelming them. The server was fun and polite, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Decided to go back the next day to try some more: shredded pickled cabbage (salty, tangy, fresh), stir-fried lamb with shallots on noodles with chilli sauce (explosions of flavours and textures) and of course another plate of lamb dumplings to round off the dinner.

An unassuming restaurant in Kings Cross that serves excellent food. The service is nothing short of exemplary from Ecca. The dumplings were all nice. The noodle dish was full of flavour and the hand pulled noodles were a textural delight. The starter of Woodward mushroom was well flavoured. The special prawn starter used a particular chilli that gave it an extra dimension in terms of flavour. It is no wonder the place is busy.

We live just down the road and this is our go to for delicious, home made dumplings and noodles. The family are friendly and very knowledgeable and always welcoming. We just tried the new ‘Chinese prawn cocktail’ and it’s delicious!

Had a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon and everything was very flavourful. The wood ear mushroom and cucumber, shredded chicken in sesame sauce and san xian dumplings were all very well seasoned. Their thick and al dente hand pulled noodles with stir fried beef full of wok hei was the best dish of the meal. Dan Dan noodle soup was pretty good too but I prefer the broth slightly thicker with more sesame or peanut butter sauce.

I have been craving proper noodles and dumplings since Taiwan a month ago. I happened to find this place while walking around searching for food. And what a find it is. The fresh noodles and dumplings were delicious. The sauce for the dumplings has the perfect balance of spicy, sour, and saltiness. Too bad I found this place on my last night in Sydney. It is pricey, but reasonable considering the location and the quality of the dishes. I hope to visit again the next time I am in Sydney. Cheers! EDIT: Do not judge, but I came back an hour or so later to try more dishes...
