This used to be our family favorite birthday night out when we were kids .. I'm disgusted! The rice is old and stale , oily and it has peas and carrots in it . Inedible. San chow bow only enough filling for two small portions not the four huge leaves supplied . Bland. Short soup 5 wontons each for $9 . It was so expensive compared to so many good local restaurants. Don't let the crowd inside fool you their taste buds are dead . Legit worse than food court chinese and $115.00 for two
I got take away from there today. This is my first time visited there. The owner is very nice. The food we got is so good. Recommended. We will definitely visit there again. Chicken and beef, very delicious!
Substandard quality for a chinese restuarant that has been here for so long. I guess thats why it was empty. The thimble amount of chilli paste given was more of an insult than anything else. The fried rice had egg shells in it and neither of us could eat the short soup. Beef was ok but loaded with sauce and shredded carrot. Would have been better of eating 2 minute noodles.
Great food & service Colly ,Linn ,Jim & Jason We'll keep going back as we love the place.
Been here twice now. It's a bit old fashioned,as the decor looks like original 1980's,but the menu is not so bad. Pretty standard dished, but you can get some excellent duck on rice with green veg and amazing 10-12. The tea is also very nice-I even asked what brand it was,as I wanted some for myself! The second time I came here I has Singapore noodles which were average. Didn't seem fresh,so that was a bit disappointing. You won't have trouble getting a seat here. New owners have taken over,so might be feeling their way. Nothing flash, but if you just want a decent meal in a quiet setting then give it a try,.
