My expectations were cautious, but this restaurant completely won me over with an exceptional dining experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the barramundi fish in spicy sauce. The fish was tender and the sauce was a masterpiece—tangy, rich, and with a slow-building heat that enhanced the fish's flavor without overpowering it. We were also happy with two other dishes ordered (pork bones soup & minced eggplant. It’s really the authentic north- eastern style of Chinese food. Surely worth coming back another time soon.
Stumbled across this great find as one of our favourite Campsie eateries were full and we were pressed for time. The food was hot, spicy and super tasty. Its everything you would expect out of a Sichuan meal. We had the Sichuan beef hotpot and It was a very generous serving best to be shared. We left there feeling so full as we over ordered. Word of note, this place only accepts cash. Definitely will be back.
Awesome dumplings. Great quality, quantity and price. Pork and chive, beef and onion were absolute perfection. Lady serving was lovely, I will be back for sure.
I actually liked my lunch special meal,it’s not for everyone having tripe but why the score is low is because of a pet peeve! They chop up the chicken is such a way that there is small sharp bones in it. I really lost my enjoyment of my meal scared into biting onto small sharp bones which I did. It’s just not enjoyable being careful with each mouthful
I was initially hesitant to try this restaurant because it used to be a different place with mediocre reviews, but the new ownership has completely transformed it! The food here is absolutely incredible—authentic Northeastern Chinese cuisine at its finest. Every dish is packed with rich, bold flavors that instantly remind me of home. It’s hands down the best Northeastern Chinese food I’ve had in Sydney. Several friends recommended this place, and it exceeded all my expectations. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Northeastern dishes, this is the spot. Highly recommend!
