Absolutely loved this duck dish. The duck was exceptionally juicy with beautifully crispy, golden skin and rich flavour in every bite. The meat was tender, moist, and perfectly seasoned, while the skin added that irresistible crunch. The sauce paired with it perfectly, enhancing the natural flavour without overpowering it. Simple, well-executed, and incredibly satisfying. If you’re a duck lover, this is a must try. I’d happily order this again.

Amazing service and experience today at Hong Kong chef We went for a quick lunch date and were served by Anika? Apologies if the spelling is incorrect Anika was super helpful and attentive We ordered the mixed bbq plate (crispy pork and bbq pork) Braised beef and wonton noodle soup Pork and chive dumplings And the mixed vegetables Overall great value You could have a different culinary experience every visit with the wide range of dishes available The flavours were incredible, The meat was all cooked to perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and can’t wait to come back soon

Hubby and I went today for lunch and the food was amazing. This is my 2nd visit and both times food has been so tasty. The service today was 10/10, young girl serving us was so friendly, catered to us and even offered to take a pic. Ample parking as its located at Macarthur square.

** Replaced the abysmal Mama Wok six months ago (thank goodness) ** Came to try this place out for dinner, as I was unhappy with the previous restaurant and it went that one time. After three visits, I'm happy to write the review that this place is a great addition to Mac Square. The menu also expands on what Asian people want to eat not just to cater to western tastes. Standard dishes are also available for people who don't want to venture into unknown territory. I love my congee and steams dishes, therefore, you can imagine my surprise that a Chinese (Hong Kong-style restaurant) in Macarthur area serves it! Ordered it and it was good, filled with chunky meats and preserved egg, but it was more watery than some in Cabramatta or the city. Their varieties of steamed yum cha dishes are great. I think they also cook it (heat it up) to order not left in the steamer all day. The hot and sour soup was nice and spicy. I enjoyed the xiao long bao, too. I also ordered fried green beans with mince pork. All the dishes were good but with room for improvement. Service, however, no fault from me. Very friendly and very quick with food. Have not yet been here when it's full, so I can only comment when I'm there at the beginning of service.

I’ve been to Hong Kong Chef twice now and both times were great! The food is fresh and full of flavour – I tried the wonton soup, BBQ pork, stir-fried veggie, soft shell crab, dim sum… Everything was cooked just right and taste amazing! The staff are friendly and the service is quick. It's a great spot for family meals and definitely one of my go-to places for good Cantonese food. Highly recommend!
