Tried 干炒伊面 XO猪扒炒饭. the noodle slightly disappointing and not entirely worth the price. Fried rice was nicely done and flavourful, would be back for it. French toast used to be delicious but now the flavour has changed sadly. Overall would come back for the fried rice and affordable price in Sydney. The service was good on a weekday afternoon, and they provided refillable Chinese tea too.

Consistently delicious dishes at great prices. Only sometimes the opening hours are a bit later than we'd like. FOOD (see photos of our most recent visit) Family has been here many times. The menu variety is massive. Lots if patrons order Hong Kong style breakfast eg Macaroni soup. I usually order the awesome beef or pork with bittermelon. My youngest likes to order the sweet & sour pork which is cooked to a high Hong Kong (not westerner type Sweet & Sour pork) standard. My spouse likes to order the eggplant with pork mince rice dish. On this recent visit, we tried the excellent chicken maryland with spaghetti & our choice of sauce was the fantastic pepper sauce that had freshly cracked pepper that gives a great kick. RECENT BREAFAST/BRUNCH UPDATE (photos start with rice pyramid): Tried 2 of their breakfast menu items which came with a nice hot milk tea & century egg congee - the sticky rice pyramid with egg yolk, beaut meat & delish chinese mushroom inside) - & the beef brisket soup with rice noodles (meat so good, beef flavour in the soup was complex & super tasty). Also ordered 1 of their normal menu item the fried rice noodles with beef in egg sauce. Also impressive. DRINKS The very hot but nice tasting tea in flask is complimentary. I wish they wouldn't give plastic cups to pour it into though as you can literally detect the taste of melted plastic. Their iced & hot drinks (thankfully the hot ones are in china cups/mugs) eg Iced lemon tea, Coffee, Milk Tea, or Coffee & Milk Tea mixed together even, are classic Hong Kong coffee shop vibe & great value. SERVICE Often you'll need to wait awhile before a wait staff finally comes over - yeah they see you but often stay busy serving others haha. But they are patient, attentive & helpful when you do get to order the food, and it doesn't take too long to come. The drinks come even quicker. ATMOSPHERE I like the light fittings & other decor. The tables are the same as their Chatswood branch. There is ample seating, hardly need to wait most times of the week. And the vibe is more relaxed than the busier but a tad smaller Chatswood branch (called Hong Kong Kitchen).

Very disappointed with the service here. I ordered the beef brisket noodle soup and noticed the soup looked very different to what I usually get — the broth was unusually dark, so I politely asked about it. I then checked their own Google page and showed the waiter (the elderly man at the cashier) a photo of the beef noodle soup listed there, which clearly looked different. Instead of explaining calmly, he immediately accused me of showing a photo from another restaurant, even though it was literally from this store’s Google page. He kept denying it was their page, raised his voice, and was extremely rude for no reason. I hadn’t even touched the dish and simply asked if I could change to something else, but he said no and walked away mid-conversation. The customer service was honestly terrible. Definitely not the kind of treatment customers should receive.

The food is pretty decent. It affordable as well. Would I go here to eat again yes I'll cause the price here cannot bet outside restaurant. It does have the Hong Kong style. The service is pretty bad. They forgot one of my meals, but they tried their best to fix it. It does feel like Hong Kong style including the service. There's no rest room so you will have to use the public restroom inside the mall.
