Free noodle refills if you are hungry. Service is really good. I find the staff all very friendly and helpful. Portion sizes for the price is really value for money and taste wise it is decent.

Great value, generous portions and genuinely satisfying Chinese-style noodles. I ordered the standard beef noodles with beef shin for about $15. The noodles were excellent, the serving was substantial and the beef made it feel like a complete meal rather than a light snack. The setup is a hybrid between a casual diner and a noodle shop: order and pay at the counter, take a seat and the food is brought to your table. Water is self-serve, which suits the relaxed, no-fuss atmosphere. Simple, affordable and well executed. I’d happily return.

3/4/26 - 3.5 stars A third Lanzhou beef noodle shop in Burwood. Less favourably located up the main road yet still very popular. Service is noticeably much poorer than other restaurants. You are required to order at the front first then find yourself a table. Wait staff hastily clear up tables with minimal care leaving tables barely clean of mess. The staff are so busy that customers can barely get a hold of them. Kitchen staff frequently aggressively ring the bell for service, is there some sort of grievance here? The food is actually not bad and overall on par with the other Lanzhou / Uyghur restaurants. There are also free noodle refills but serving sizes are pretty generous already. Traditional noodle soup Broth: S+, 8.5/10 Beef: S, 8/10. Brisket a bit chewy but still nice Noodles: A, 8/10 Value: A, 8/10. $16 Stir fry dry beef noodles Flavour: S, 8/10. Not as fragrant or spicy as other dishes. More tomato-y which isn't too bad Texture: A, 7/10. Beef, vegetables and chewy noodles don't quite match. Basically home cooked meal vibe Value: SS, 9/10. $18 for a huge plate

Nice service Beautiful restaurant Yummy beef noodles as always, recommended order the spicy version. Come around 6pm to avoid long queues. Lamb skewers are signature dishes. Ordered 3 and ended up ordering another 3. Good dumplings and pocket pies too.

Have you tried their handmade noodles?? Is so bouncy texture and so comforting. Their ribs fall out from the bone!! This place no one is talking about it enough! I absolute love their signature traditional lanzhou beef noodles!! Best part?? They are HALAL!! Perfect for everyone.
