Solid food ( the dishes we ordered were decent ) ; efficient service, good atmosphere. 四喜拷夫 was amazing. Salted duck has a good flavour but was a bit too salty. Xiao long bao was juicy and its filling was of the typical Shanghai style. Reasonably priced. We will be back to try more dishes .

The ambiance is nice, slight industrial with unique design representing modern Chinese. Food menu looks so good that you wanna order everything and the actual food is much better! Delicious and juicy toasted buns is amazing!

The service here is good, but the food is terrible. We live in Chatswood and dine out almost every single day, so we know many good local restaurants. We’ve visited Li Long a few times in the past, but haven’t been back in a long while because the food was never quite satisfying. Today’s visit was the worst one yet. Here is our feedback on the dishes: 小炒肉 (Stir-fried Pork with Chili): This was served completely cold, as if it had been sitting out for a long time and was mistakenly brought to our table. It was honestly quite inedible. 粉丝煲 (Vermicelli Clay Pot): Very dry and made with very low-quality shrimp. 馄饨 (Wonton Soup): Just okay, but overly salty. 松子鱼 (Pine Nut Fish): This was the only dish that was actually good. Given our previous experiences and this latest visit, it’s unlikely we will be returning. I’m curious how they survive Chatswood when the competition is so intense.

We went there again with a group of friends today. They hv different restaurants under “LiLong” but this is the best one! The meals are still delicious with reasonable portions. 👍👍 If the Peking duck was more crispy, it would be perfect. The restaurant is spacious, tidy & clean with excellent location which is just above the Chatswood station. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared, especially the Eight-Treasure Rice Pudding. We also have crispy Shanghai turnip croissants, pan fried spring onion pancakes, pan fried pork buns, Shanghai stir fried sticky rice cakes, braised bamboo shoots, etc. We were too rush for the scrumptious food and forgot to take photos. 😅

LiLong by Taste of Shanghai is a solid choice if you're craving authentic Chinese food in Chatswood. The dumplings are a standout—super fresh and packed with flavor. I had the pan-fried pork dumplings and they were crispy on the outside with juicy filling inside. The menu also features a great variety of traditional dishes, and everything comes out hot and well-presented. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and efficient. The only downside is that it can get a bit crowded, especially on weekends, but that’s a good sign of how popular the place is. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, a great spot for anyone craving delicious Chinese food in the area!
