Sure, they've got chicken skewers on all the posters but let's not forget what this place is named. We're here for the lamb and so are you. The signature lamb skewers alternate with meat and fat, but you can get meat-only skewers for a slightly higher price. They're dusted with coarsely ground cumin and mildly spicy chilli powder while being grilled over charcoal. Very yummy. Would highly recommend. The beef tendon skewers are also an alternative option if you like chewy bites. And there's chicken wings too! Five is a snack, but ten or fifteen could be a meal... Do try the other places in Burwood Chinatown too.
We bought 10 lamb signature skewers for $25! Not worth the price. The meat takes up the top quarter of the skewer. Can’t really taste the lamb flavour just spice. Smoky flavour is good but not returning again
The aroma of lamb skewers from the outside of the store draws you in to try some, it is cash only so don't forget to bring cash, there's abit of a wait but the wait is so worth it. this places makes my mouth drool from the smell of spices and lamb skewers cooking over the hot coal. These skewers taste delicious charcoal flavoured signature lamb skewers. Definitely worth a try!
First time here. Service was normal and the place looked okay. I ordered the marinated beef skewers (comes as a set of five). I usually get the regular ones but wanted to try the marinated version. They were honestly the saltiest skewers I’ve ever had. Any saltier and I probably wouldn’t have been able to finish them. Pretty disappointing. If you don’t like really salty food, I’d avoid the marinated beef skewers.
The lamb skewers are amazing. The skewers are cooked over charcoal with a good ratio of juicy lamb meat and fat. I love how you can also chose your spice level. Note this place is cash only.
