Mr Stonebowl in Burwood absolutely impressed us with the food. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and had such a creative fusion-style approach everything we ordered was delicious. The restaurant has a very busy which shows how popular it is. The downside for us was was the nois that feelt overwhelming at times and the waiter who was repeatedly vaping whilst coming out which didn’t feel very professional. That said, the food was genuinely outstanding and definitely worth trying

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a great experience at Mr Stonebowl Burwood. The food came out incredibly fast and every dish was packed with flavour. The portions were generous and perfect for sharing with friends or family. The garlic prawn squid ink rice and pan-fried dumplings were definite standouts. Even though the restaurant was busy and had a queue outside, the atmosphere was lively and the wait was worth it. A fantastic spot in Burwood for comforting and authentic Chinese food at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back again.

Probably my favourite Chinese restaurant in Burwood. We’ve visited multiple times and genuinely have never had a bad dish. Delicious fusion Chinese food at reasonable prices in Burwood. Good tasty dishes, quite a variety of choices and the portions were quite big too. Service was good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Mr Stonebowl in Burwood is absolutely worth the hype, just make sure you come early because there’s usually a long queue. That said, the wait is completely justified because their food never disappoints. We’ve visited multiple times and genuinely have never had a bad dish. Recently, we tried the Fish Fillet in Yunnan Guizhou sour soup, and it was easily one of the best dishes we’ve had here. It’s a complete meal on its own — tangy, refreshing, slightly spicy, and beautifully balanced with ingredients that complement each other perfectly. The truffle udon was also delicious, rich without being overwhelming. Another standout was the tofu with crab meat and fish roe, which was impressive in both flavour and texture. From previous visits, we also loved the rice cake dish, the seafood fried rice with butterfly pea sauce, and the osmanthus cake, which was nicely balanced and not overly sweet. Other memorable dishes include the fish and shepherd’s purse dumplings — balanced and flavourful — and the deep-fried eggplant with breadcrumbs, which was surprisingly creative and very satisfying. Overall, Mr Stonebowl is definitely worth the queue. Consistently great food, interesting flavours, and we will absolutely be coming back.

We had to wait an hour and half to get a table on a Saturday night! So crowded! Food came very quickly - makes you feel the sauces must have been prpared before! Food was good and the price was $140 for 4 people - BYO wine
