Woman who served us was lovely but unfortunately the food was no good. Very bland and lacking flavour. Honey chicken came out soggy and like rubber. Tasted like it had been rewarmed in the microwave and drizzled with honey sauce. Ordered a Singapore noodles with no pork and it was full of pork. Showed the waitress the untouched honey chicken and there was no offer to remake it or remove from the bill, just got an apology for the new chef who had cooked it. Maybe caught them on an off day but not game enough to try again.
I ordered takeaway on a Sunday night. Celebrating my mum's and dad's birthday, I was tasked to pick and collect the food. With dad in tow, we drove down to the restaurant at a 5.45 pm. We ordered a steam barramundi with ginger and shallot, a dozen scallops with XO sauce, salt and pepper pork chop, flat rice noodle with egg and beef, large fried rice and kai lan vegetable dish in outer sauce. A grand total of $170 was pretty decent value considering the fish and scallops were $70. The fish and scallops were fresh and juicy, enjoyed thoroughly by my mum. The pork chop was perfectly seasoned, crunchy and tasty to all, especially my dad. The family dog loved the beef from the noodle dish. Although, the flat noodle and fried rice were merely accompaniments to the rest so it was not a standout by any means. The leaves of the vegetables were a little chewy but that wasn't really the star of all six dishes. The predominantly Cantonese style dishes were done well overall as we're keen to try others the next time we get a chance.
Ordered chicken in batter sweet and sour it's mostly batter hardly no chicken , chow mein wasn't combination only beef and chicken and one king prawn watery and beef in oyster is like a soup too watery. Went to have leftovers for lunch the omelette sauce has congealed
Recently discovered this place from a referral from my father in law! & I wish he had told me sooner!! absolutely amazing food. Great service. have tried all on the lunch menu except the green curry. And can’t fault a single dish!! 10/10
The seafood was amazing. Will definitely come back again soon!!
