How does a simple fried noodle dish take more than 30 minutes? We arrived earlier than others, but my friend was the only one who never received his food while everyone else was served. We asked multiple times, yet no one gave us a clear answer. In the end, my friend had to leave without eating. He just wasted his time waiting for nothing and felt extremely uncomfortable. If the order was forgotten, the staff should have been honest instead of making us wait like that. This kind of service is unacceptable. The food itself was fine, but the service was terrible and completely ruined our Easter. This place seriously needs to fix how they manage orders and communicate with customers.

One of the best small restaurants in Eastwood. I always come here for their fried rice and it hits the mark everytime. Everything they make are good proportions and they still remain relatively less pricey than other restaurants in Eastwood! They ensure their customers have a good experience and open till very late which is perfect when you finish work late and need somewhere to eat food that is not fast food. Highly recommend this place and their pork hamburgers!

Great and classic Chinese Northwest style cuisine. Quite local and, to be honest, cheap enough. The cumin lamb and beef noodles and different kinds of pork making taste well. All their dumplings and noodles are handmade. Rare and tasty. I like their pork burger and steamed cold noodles.

Food: I’m a sucker for a 肉夹馍 (roujiamo, meat sandwiched between bread) and while it looked dry, it was super crispy, not dry, and the stewed pork was really flavourful and juicy. I opted to try the 臊子汤面 (saozi tang mian, a sour spicy noodle soup) and it’s nicely sour, spicy, flavourful meat, good QQ chewy noodles (though some are thicker, chewier, and some are thinner, less chewy, feels very “home style”). Next time definitely going for a 羊肉泡馍 (yangrou pao mo, lamb soup with bread pieces) and next-next time a 羊肉拌面 (yangrou banmian, mixed lamb and noodles), the latter seemed a popular order. 15/20 Service: I was treated kindly, the food arrived quickly, so at least the service can be good, some other reviews said it was bad, but I found them to all be quite nice. 14/20 Ambience: well it’s a tiny old shop lol, for what it is, 12/20 Overall: I’d come back yes, 14/20

Your typical no-frills Chinese shop with really delicious food that is well-priced. Many options for biang biang noodles, cold dishes and soups. Everything was pretty consistently tasty. The space is pretty small and pretty lowkey, so don’t expect anything too grand. But the food is good and that’s what matters to me.
