Wow. I just had one of the best meals of my entire life! Pork wontons in chilli oil in a broth swimming with delicious chilli oil was a great start. But the sizzling pork with chilli was next level. Absolutely perfect textures thinly sliced slightly chewy pork, soft slippery mushrooms, balanced with the crunch of the greens and ginger. Spectacular. Absolutely delicious cannot say enough good things about this place. My only disappointment is that I am leaving Sydney tomorrow and cannot come back. I would give it 10/5 if I could.
I really love this place so don’t know why so many branches are shutting down. Always get the deep fried mushrooms and salted egg tofu whenever I go. Love all the dishes. Surprisingly good non spicy options too considering the name.
Authentic Sichuan food with bold, spicy flavors. Every dish is packed with flavor, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, Great value for money!
The food was good. But we walked in on a Sat mid day when they just started trading no customers yet, staff seemed busy prepping up & totally ignored us. Pretty sure she saw us ( 4 people standing in the middle of the shop) not a nice entering experience.
Great portions, very flavourful dishes, spices was adjusted to the Aussies market. Cold noodles was overly sweet suppressing numbing and nice oily flavours, what a miss. Cozy atmosphere and decoration. However service was average, asking us to pay before we finished our meal so they can close their cashier on time. Otherwise was nice dining experience.
