Went on a weekday for lunch, there was no queue. The stir fried veges tasted like home cook dish. It was tasty but nothing special.
Very nice zigong style sichuan food. Lots of chilies and spices. Enjoyed it! Cooking can be slow. I recommend the kidney strips.
All right for approx 30 mins wait on a Friday night. Thumb up for double crispy dish & potato dish. Beef dish was not as good as expected.
5 stars for Benwu Bashi in Burwood! The most authentic Sichuan Jianghu cuisine in the area—spicy chicken is tender & juicy (no dry meat!), zha zha beef is super flavourful, all dishes are incredibly fragrant and genuine. A must-try for spicy food lovers!
Amazing new Sichuan restaurant. We've been back 3 times since it opened. In our opinion it is the best Sichuan restaurant in Burwood and we are very glad its here now. The food is made fresh - it is spicy and full of flavour. Might be a bit much if you are not used to this style of food but it exactly like what you'd find in China. The environment is nice with friendly staff. Highly recommend!
