4.5/5 We ordered a lot of food and the absolute highlights were the 3 pictured. Highly recommend these dishes, and would drive 40km again just to eat them.... The Pickled Cabbage & Fish Fillet Rice Noodle Soup was so flavourful, the fish was extremely fresh and soft, and one of the best things I've ever eaten. The Fried Prawns with Egg Yolk were so Crispy, well cooked, flavourful and the prawns were huge! The Crispy Eggplant in Special Sauce was definitely so Crispy & stayed Crispy. The special sauce was really yummy too. I think some of their other dishes were on the average side. I would not recommend the Black Truffle Fried Rice with Wagyu. It was quite bland (couldn't taste the truffle) and the wagyu pieces were very small and sparse. We went on a Monday night and there were plenty of tables available/ no queue.

Local restaurant with an average dining experience. Lots to try from their menu, though what we tried was rather ordinary. Seems to be an affordable, reasonable family dining option.

This place is AMAZING! I came here with my girlfriend for her birthday, to try the stinky tofu but they were sold out :( So we tried some other things, and we both loved it SO much. The food might be a little on the pricier side (my wonton and red chilli oil sauce was $16.80 and her stir-fried jiangxi noodles with beef was $19.80, and the milk buns were $12.80), but the flavour absolutely makes up for it. We had looked at the other reviews and were a little bit nervous, but we didn’t experience anything of the sort! The food was incredibly tasty and flavourful. The portions seemed to be on the smaller side, but they were incredibly filling. We will absolutely be coming here again, because we enjoyed the food SO much. The service was very quick, both with serving us our food, cleaning up both our dishes and other tables’ dishes, and the waitresses were very polite. They’re not the most “friendly” if you’re experiencing more of a chatter, but for awkward and anxious customers like us, it was perfect :) Definitely not rude in the slightest, to me. This restaurant was amazing, and I can’t wait to come here again. (We’d love to try the stinky tofu next time).

We were thoroughly impressed with each dish as the flavors really came through and the spices enhanced the dishes and was never overpowering. Each dish came out promptly and the service was pretty good as they were able to accommodate our needs when asked such as providing gloves for when we were eating beef dish with bones. I will say that dish did have a high bone to meat ratio but it was alright. The place is spacious and clean and with so many more food items untried, it would warrant a return.

Low-key gem! Would definitely come back and try more things. Suan Cai Yu, pickled fish: 6/7 Huge value, lots of options to add more contents. The fish was good quality and well cooked. Special fried rice: 4/7 It was well fried, but really doesn’t taste like anything. Just… straight fried rice, rice but unhealthy. Extra chicken soup: 5/7 Can’t remember if this was free bonus or extra order, but very tasty and clean.
