I ordered the Sweet and sour pork. First time here and to be very honest the pork was terrible. It didn’t even taste anything like it should. Pretty disappointing as I was recommended to this place

The owner was incredibly nice and provided great customer service. Despite being on his own, you can really see that he’s doing his best to make sure his customers feel heard, valued and happy. I think this place has a lot of potential to grow. He’s very open to constructive feedback and genuinely seems willing to take it onboard and improve, which I really respect. My partner and I enjoyed our time there, and he especially enjoyed the duck fried rice and orange chicken. The owner genuinely cared about our experience, which says a lot about the effort he’s putting in. Wishing him all the best, we’ll definitely be back and hope to see the place continue to grow!

We visited this restaurant a couple of months ago, and ordered the salt and pepper tofu, honey chicken and the duck fried rice. The honey chicken was nice, but the tofu and fried rice was genuinely awful. The tofu was not the right type, using what seemed like tofu puff. There was no discernible presence of salt or pepper, and just tasted like we were served freshly boiled tofu puffs in plain water, with negligible toppings. The duck fried rice had no wok hei taste. We could've let that slide if not for the fact that the cubed duck pieces was extremely dry. It didn't even look like duck pieces at first. It hurts to say as the person serving was very nice. In the end, they are a food-first business and they definitely did not meet the bar (to our tastes) at time of visit. We thought we'd give another chance but the recent reviews don't seem to indicate improvement. We hope we're wrong.

Food is pretty bad I won’t lie. I wanted it to be good but it was terrible. The chicken was over breaded to the point that in most pieces I ate there was more breading than meat. It literally looked like bread attached to meat than meat coated in batter. Food was not anything like the pictures. Sauce was barely drizzled on instead of tossed and coated onto the meat. No sesame seeds or anything. Rice was super dry. Eating in was not nice when there was kitchen smoke everywhere in the dining space with no ventilation. I hope the owner figures out and improves because honestly, I had the worst food this year here. I really like the ideas and flavour combinations but the cooking technique is some of the worst I’ve been to anywhere in the world. If the owner wants to contact me, I can provide them with genuine feedback because this business is going under by end of the year with its current offerings. Things like having vegetables included in the combination, competently fried meats and more sauce would make this place an institution. As it currently stands, the price for near inedible food is a huge rip off.
