Cosy chinese restaurant serving up some great classics and hearty meals, very good value for the price and lovely, quick service. -Wonton and Dry noodles in special chilli sauce Very fragrant. Tasty sauce for sure. Noodles have great texture and wontons are hearty. Chilli sauce definitely spicy. -Signature braised beef noodle soup Can’t go wrong with this pick in a Chinese restaurant. -prawn with pork and mushroom wonton soup They use real prawn pieces in their wontons. Actually not bad wonton soup and similar to ones usually eaten for breakfast in the motherland. House special pan fried dumplings with beef Very good, crispy and freshly cooked. Fried chicken wings - solid tasting, however the wings were not as big as I expected. Shallot pancake - chinese classic that is done well. Crispy and flaky on the outside and soft in the middle. Seasoned well.

I have been coming here for years now and I am proud to say, they are consistent. Consistently good! Great! Every time I come with my family, it truly is to come, for the food. I get their popular dishes namely their braised beef noodle soup which is hand pulled chewy and springy…sooo good, wontons in chilli oil with plenty of garlic, shallots and coriander, their seafood fried rice which I must say…rivals that of many top rated Chinese restaurants. These are always my go to and every time, they execute the flavours perfectly! So happy to give this small business their tens in terms of food. Only downside is that the shop is small and squashy. Air con is not strong enough in summer and freezing cold in winter. Don’t underestimate them based on aesthetics, their food is impressively good. Apart from all that, their service is always kind and polite. On a side note, I travel 30mins and battle car parking just to come here in Burwood and it’s always worth it for me.

Our family of 6 dined here last night 24.04.26 and my goodness! We were blown away by the quality of the food. To be honest it didn’t look like much when we walked in but the food and service exceeded our expectations. The woman serving us was absolutely fantastic. Even explaining the origins of the food. And the prices were pretty good for the size of the servings. We definitely recommend this restaurant to all who want some genuine Chinese cuisine.

I ordered the Wontons in chilli oil and the Dan Dan Noodles. The handmade noodles are nice and chewy. The wontons lacked garlic, and the chilli oil was too sweet and not salty enough.
