First time having yum cha at Bankstown Sports Club. Arrived after 1pm so avoided the lunch time crush. Still a few trolleys going around with freshly steamed goodies. We got the usual basics. All were nicely made and tasted fresh. Tea was also nice with a good amount of tea leaves in the pot. The egg tarts were still warm and were lovely. A nice spot for yum cha with comfortable chairs and attentive staff.
Review: A Must-Visit Dining Experience! I had a fantastic time at this restaurant and can’t say enough good things about it. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and set the perfect tone for the evening. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was flavourful and clearly prepared with care. To top it off, the service was outstanding; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great meal, and I will definitely be back again!
Fresh, delicious, and served piping hot. The Salt & Pepper Pork Ribs were crispy, tender, juicy, and very meaty. Highly recommended! Will definitely come back again.
This is located in the Bankstown Sport Club. Some of the younger staff was not well trained and not familiar with the Chinese food. The atmosphere would be better if they put tablecloth for dinner.
We came in today for Pre Lunar New Year celebration for 3 law offices. I can understand the service was a bit let down but the food is worth value for money. 8 people - 7 dishes, 2 live crabs cooked different style - Ginger shallot and XO vermicelli + 1 live fish + 6 yum cha dishes plus drinks for just little over $500, this is a bargain! All my guests gave compliment how tasty the food was. I was too busy eating to take pictures of our delicious crab and fish dishes. To the Restaurant Manager, you guys have not promoted your seafood menu and highlighted dishes enough. Your dishes are tasty and reasonably priced. You need to market your seafood menu, create more banquet menu and you will attract the Chinese/Vietnamese customers in the area. You guys are definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Bankstown. A bit slow on the food service, but definitely should take on customer’s feedback about your customer service skill. My friend is already thinking of coming back for another banquet in the New Year.
