I visited Black & White Espresso Bar and had a really good experience. I ordered a coffee and a bagel with cheese, and both were very nice. The coffee was well made and tasted great, and the bagel was fresh and delicious. The environment was very good—calm, comfortable, and a nice place to sit and relax. Overall, it was a lovely visit with good coffee and a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely a place worth stopping by. ☕️

Black and White Espresso is a great little spot to slow down and enjoy a coffee in The Rocks. The setting is full of Sydney history, making it the perfect place to sit back, relax and take in the atmosphere. Great coffee, friendly service, and a really cool place to spend some time.

This is my local love here at the Rocks.. We come here every time I visit on my way to the Botanical Gardens to have a cuppa and a sando. Love the matcha, mocha and piccolos here. Friendly and prompt service. Very easy going, fuss free venue and on a gorgeous spring morning like today, there are seats outside the front where you can enjoy the breeze.

Coffee was ok but the food was disappointing. Good morning roll was drowned in sauce with the bacon charred and the bread roll stale and dry (see picture). The whole thing was dripping in oil so much I ended using a fork and knife to finish it. Spicy Rueben my partner ordered was also a discordant combo of preserved food that lacks flavour and way too salty. And the chips- if you can’t serve hot chips, at least have the decency to serve thin and crispy gourmet kettle chips rather than these no frills thick and uniform chips. As for the service: Coffee was served soon after we paid for the order but the food only came after we almost finished the coffee (and I do take time to enjoy my coffee). It wasn’t even busy when we got there. I feel bad giving a negative review but I am terribly disappointed.
