Came across this place while walking around Leichhardt and wasn't expecting to have the best affogato of my life. Their soft serve is so good and not sure what coffee beans they use but wow their coffee is really good. I also ordered their tuna nicoise salad and it was ok, the tuna was a little dry and underseasoned. My mum ordered their pumpkin ravioli special and that was delicious, the focaccia that came with this dish was so fresh and made really well. We also tried their summer in Italy juice and it was so refreshing. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice outdoor seating area under cute canopies

I came here for brunch with friends. They could do a bacon and egg roll, but they couldn't do bacon sandwiches. However, they could give me sourdough toast with butter and bacon on the side, so that I could make my own sandwich. It seemed like I got what I wanted. The only drawback was that, being toast, it was quite dry, so i asked for more butter. The waitress walked passed a few times before delivering, unfortunately it left them waiting. So it took me longer to eat than my friends having their mains. They tried their best within the parameters of what they allow themselves to serve. Unfortunately, as im fussy im not able to come here again.

We enjoyed great food and excellent service at La Bottega. They had a good variety of items on their menu and on top of that offer different bread options. The chips was delicious, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, not oily either. We also enjoyed their drinks. The wait staff are service oriented, friendly and professional. It’s rare to find this level of service at cafes these days, we really appreciated their hospitality. Overall an excellent experience. We’d definitely be back again with friends. Highly recommended!

Sunday well spent at La Bottega Leichhardt. I tried their special menu and was genuinely impressed...especially the chips, which were different from the usual and absolutely delicious, with a very generous portion. The whole place has a classy and elegant vibe… definitely my kind of place. Perfect for a slow, stylish brunch.
