Had my birthday here and honestly couldn't have picked a better spot. We went for the Pig-On-The-Spit Banquet and it was an absolute feast. A whole suckling pig, snacks on arrival, and a proper spread of salads and breads. The waitresses and the owner looked after us brilliantly all night. We had our table outside in the garden, which gave the whole night such a relaxed, buzzy vibe, perfect for a celebration. Great beer selection too. The food was hearty, the service was spot on, and everyone left happy and full. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend if you're after good food, good beer and a great atmosphere!

Nice place, lots of outdoor seating and kid friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, just had a small hiccup waiting for the food. Waited 45mins for one of the dishes and an hour for the other. I think the order was forgotten while others who ordered the same meals after received theirs in a much shorter period of time. They were pretty busy that day, so maybe it was a once off issue.

While visiting Sydney from Florida, we came across this Czech/Slovak restaurant and of course, being of Slovak heritage and my parents immigrants of Slovakia, we just had to try, especially since we noticed that they had bryndzové halušky on the menu. Stepping into the restaurant it fully felt like we were transported back to a Slovak pub and we made our way to the back Terrace. The service was great as our server made the authentic experience even more authentic by speaking Czech to us, and of course we had to order a draft Pilsner. We ordered the Halusky and the schnitzel and the food was pretty good considering we were not actually in Slovakia. If you’re in the Sydney area and are craving some authentic Slovak/Czech food I would highly recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner.

Came back to Sydney with good memories of this Czech beer, and yes — the beer was still great. Shame the “chef’s special” sausage looked like the chef had completely given up on life. around $15 for one sad, skinny little sausage that disappeared in literally two bites, a piece of bread that looked personally rejected by someone else, and a splash of sauce thrown on the plate like an afterthought. Please, have a little shame and take this off the menu. This isn’t a chef’s special — it’s a practical joke.

Went to Tommy’s this Friday the 31st of July, the service was amazing. We ate the Swiss snitzel and 1 meter sausage it was perfectly done. the food was authentic and the servers were so friendly and attentive. The drinks were great and the bar service was fast. We are from Byron and are staying in glebe wanted to go for good food and some drinks and we picked the best place we could have. Grateful to the team and the chefs will definitely be back.
