Had dinner at Doko Yakiniku 3 times now. Great food and presentation. Good that it's also BYO at $5.00 per person.

The food and service was outstanding. We got the Wagyu Tester Box for 2 plus some sides (edamame, corn & vegetables) and everything was so fresh and delicious. Always fun to bbq the food yourself, and the staff are attentive & helpful, and very accommodating for our little Bub. Beautiful drinks too. Highly recommend, and great to see a place like this on King St!

Personally, I think the Wagyu short rib and Wagyu Karubi are very fragrant and delicious. When you eat them, they burst with juice in one bite. Whether it's the sticky salt or the barbecue sauce, it's very good Their beef tongue is thick-cut. I highly recommend everyone to try it. The beef tongue with the modified flower cuts sizzles on the baking tray, is tender and super juicy with a hint of chewiness. The shrimp is really huge. The soup base is very fresh and rich in milk flavor, but not too thick and not greasy at all. Each ramen is coated with the soup and paired with the shrimp meat, it's simply incredibly fresh. It's just that the seasoning is a little too salty

Had such a great experience at Doko Yakiniku in Newtown! The meat quality was amazing — super fresh and perfectly marinated. The yakiniku platter is a must-try, and everything we ordered came out delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, and the vibe of the place is really cozy but still lively. Perfect spot for dinner with friends. Will definitely be coming back!

Had a great dinner at Doko Yakiniku. The wagyu platter was excellent, with each cut offering a different texture and flavour. The sushi and sides were also fresh and well prepared. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend for a group dinner.
