I finally had the chance to try Nanjing Gourmet, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. The menu has plenty of classic Chinese dishes, and everything we ordered tasted fresh and was served nice and hot. The highlights of the meal were the Dan Dan noodles and the Xiao Long Bao. The noodles were full of flavour with a delicious nutty, savoury sauce that wasn’t too heavy, and the texture was perfect. The Xiao Long Bao were excellent too delicate on the outside with a generous amount of tasty broth and juicy filling inside. They disappeared from the table so quickly! We also ordered the duck giblet vermicelli soup, which was surprisingly comforting and made a great addition to the meal. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the broth had a clean, rich flavour. The restaurant has a busy, lively atmosphere, which is always a good sign. Service was quick, and the food arrived without a long wait despite the crowd. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it great value for money. If you enjoy authentic Chinese noodles and dumplings, Nanjing Gourmet is definitely worth visiting. I’ll be coming back for those Dan Dan noodles and Xiao Long Bao again they were easily the stars of the meal.

This place is amazing the crab soup dumplings have the most amazing flavor. Service is direct but I guess that's because they are busy, still friendly. Everything was perfect must try!

OMG you have to try this place. We came here for breakfast and got the pork & crab xiao long bao. They were freshly hand made, super juicy and simply delicious. We also had Jajangmyeon (pork mince with dry noodle [aka no broth]) and it was so good we went back and ordered their pork and black truffle xiao long bao. Will definitely be coming back to eat here.

Love this place so much. I’m a fan of glass noodles- vermicelli so my friend took me here. Tried their beef vermicelli and absolutely hooked. Love the texture of vermicelli - it’s just right! Also the flavours of the soup is great - maybe a bit salty for Western people but for me, it’s great. The beef also tender. We also like the duck - yummy- full of flavor and duck is soft and juicy. Our last order was xialongbao and for me, it’s the best I’ve tried. The skin is thin and soft, while the filling is tasty and fresh! Highly recommend!

I got 4 pieces of crab and pork xiaolongbao for $16 which is a bit of a steep price, but they were good ! lotttss of flavourful soup inside each one and thin delicate skin which are both musts for xiaolongbao so they nailed it on that front :) however, a surcharge on not only sunday but saturday too is kinda crazy.
