Randomly came across this place after being near Burwood and keen for some dumplings, definitely didn't disappoint. Small, family style place, order on the phone and food comes out with 10mins. Super tasty, would highly recommend!
Discovered another dumpling joint and the pricing is honestly hard to beat — 20 pan-fried dumplings for $20. The menu leans heavily Taiwanese with a few Chongqing-style spicy noodle options as well. Simple, tasty, and very wallet-friendly — perfect for a casual dumpling fix.
We dropped by Sydney Dumpling King in Burwood for a weekday dinner, The xiao long bao were bursting with hot, savory broth, and the pan-fried pork buns had that perfect crispy-juicy combo. Beef noodle soup tastes delicious, rich flavour and big portion. Wonton soup is flavorful and filling. Service was fast. Food always arrive hot and quick. Prices were great for the quality. We usually go there once per month.

We were here almost 10 years ago. Today we returned and tried our favourite dishes but we were disappointed. The quality has not been kept the same tasty levels before. The least satisfied area was the service. We would expect at least a welcome smile by the waitress. They have a well printed menu and prices have gone up at least 45% compared to last time we visited here. Overall, a bit let down by the quality and service.
