My partner and I came here for the first time tonight and we had the best experience! We ordered the platter and shared it between us (vegan for me, meat for him). It came with entrees for each of us, 6 mains, and dessert for the both of us. The value was amazing — the portions were so generous (as were the staff) and the food was so fresh and delicious and it came very quickly. Our new favourite restaurant! The staff were so lovely and attentive. We will definitely be back ❤️

Our first time to this restaurant, we were very excited to try the cuisine, and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by very friendly staff. A huge shout out to Joseph for making us feel very welcome and his amazing hospitality throughout our dining experience. We enjoyed the vegan platter, it was able to be altered to offer gluten-free bread! The size of the platter was huge, and we didn’t think we would be able to eat it all, however, everything was so delicious we managed to actually eat a whole lot! The flavours were perfectly balanced. The mango and guava juices were a great accompaniment. The platter also included finishing with ice cream or freshly brewed African coffee and both were a lovely way to end a great night! The value for money is exceptional :) Highly recommend !

Oh my goodness, I can’t believe I missed to review this place! It was my first time trying Ethiopian food, and let me tell you, it was an absolute hit! We went with the combo platter for two, and it was absolutely delicious. The food was so tasty that we couldn’t stop eating. One of the things I really liked about this place was the owner. He was so friendly and approachable, and he even took the time to chat with all the customers and give us some tips on how to eat the meal. It was really nice to have someone to guide us through the experience. And we would definitely visit this place again.

We ordered the platter and it was amazing, the best I have ever had. I really loved the variety of meat and vegetarian options as it was packed with flavour and spices. I would definitely recommend coming along if you are in Sydney as the owner and staff are so friendly! One of the best places to eat. The owner gave us extra portions so really appreciate the hospitality, quite a hidden gem.

A unique cuisine with a very distinctive taste. The platters are big and packed with a variety of flavors. The owner was there and kindly talked us through the meal, which made the experience feel very welcoming. The staff were also friendly and kept serving extra injera throughout the meal. Personally, the food wasn't my favorite. The injera was a bit too sour for my palate, although the meat sauces were quite good. The meat itself didn't have as much flavor as I expected. Overall, it was still a good experience and something different to try, but the price is a bit on the higher side and the flavors might not be for everyone.
