Great place to enjoy Ethiopian food. Well priced, beautiful flavours and good service. They have a good variety of meat and vegan dishes, plus you can get the platter option to sample a bit of everything. Good sized portions too. You won't walk away hungry.
Walked in on a rainy day and the restaurant was very quiet and we wanted to try something new, so glad we did. Amazing food! Never had Ethiopian before and tried the Royal Platter to sample everything. They have great vegetarian and vegan options but the meat curries were so tender and full of flavour. The bread they give you to eat with your hands is the perfect accompaniment, it was a great experience. Unique drink selection too. It is one lady in the back cooking everything so be patient, it’s worth it!
Great Ethiopian food! We ordered the royal platter for 5 and it came with generous portions for each person, both the dishes and the injera bread were delicious! And to finish it off, the Ethiopian coffee experience after our meal really hit the spot!
The place was warm and intimate, and as it’s run by two aunties, have some patience as the food they produce will blow your mind. Had the vegan platter, every dish was flavourful, and the sourdough flatbread was incredible. Highly recommend, be prepared to wait, you won’t be disappointed.
Delicious Ethiopian food. Has vegetarian / vegan options. Has street parking nearby. I don’t even usually drink or life coffee but the coffee was delicious and served with popcorn was surprisingly enjoyable. Will defs visit again :)
