As others have noted, this place has seemingly gone downhill. I grabbed a lamb wrap for dinner the other week and it was TRAGIC. Took ridiculously long (no one else was in there at the time) yet the wrap I received was barely luke warm. There was almost no meat... or anything other than lettuce. So much for SALAD... it was literally just lettuce bread - I can't even say it was a wrap because there was no attempt to actually wrap it up at all... it was barely folded like a taco. Everything just fell apart. It was messy and worst of all, flavourless. I had heard really good things about this place, so I was super disappointed with my experience, and the customer service was no better than the food.

Unfortunately it’s gone downhill. Run by high school kids during the week. Burgers are a soggy mess by the time your home. They forget your order on more than one occasion. Tonight I had a potato scallop which was completely off. Hate to think how old it was. Disgusting!! You should not be in business. Will not go back. Sorry

Was really disappointed with the food. Walked in for the first time very excited as I have been following them on FB. There were flies all over the salads enclosed in the food bar. I informed staff who responded “we’ve been trying to get them out all day”. The staff appear aged between 11-17 with no adult present. Kitchenhand looked about 11-12 years old. They were the loveliest little darlings but concerned about their ability to maintain hygiene and cook. The chips were overcooked and soft. The chicken was super dry and lacked flavour. Burger was ok but a bit undercooked. $50 worth of food and we couldn’t eat most of it, mainly out of fear of becoming sick from flies sitting on the food. This is a serious issue and I’m surprised the store is busy. Ended up making oats for my family for dinner and a big waste of money, especially given the cost of living. Genuinely concerned about health safety. A post from 4 years ago also mentioned the flies on the salads but it appears things have not changed. Very concerned about this place. The kids working are really trying, but need adult supervision. The owner needs to come up with a method of keeping the flies off the food eg once salads are made place them in individual containers. I went in for a family value pack but once I saw the flies on the salads did not want to order the salad, so therefore ended up paying more for 3/4 super dry, almost inedible chicken. Not good at all.

Got the $10 works burger. Good burger and worth the money. Nice fresh bun and good size patty. Held together well. Friendly staff. Recommend. 4 stars because 50c surcharge on eftpos under $10, otherwise 5 stars.

Grills on Wills is a great when ordered by Uber Eats or food delivery, but I was quite upset in person. The first time I ordered food for delivery i got an amazing Chicken salad, it was fairly priced and arrived quickly. However today I went in person, the first thing I see is staff just hanging around and when I look at the salad bar (completely enclosed) there were flies all over the food. It was over the salads and other items in there. When I pointed it out to a staff member, I was surprised by the poor customer service as it seem she simply didn't care. She waved off some flies and then closed the glass again with flies still in there. It's quite unfortunate because the food itself was quite nice and very decently priced, but I'm simply appaled at their terrible hygiene (especially during COVID19), their poor customer service, and disregard for customers and their safety. So I would highly advise against going to Grills on Wills while they show such little regard for their customers.
