Honestly one of the cleanest and best-run Oporto stores I’ve been to. It’s tucked away nicely in the Park Sydney shopping village, so parking is super easy. I ordered the double Bondi burger meal and the chicken was actually juicy and fresh, not dry like some other locations. The chips were hot and properly seasoned with chicken salt too. Staff were friendly and got the food out pretty quickly even though they looked busy with delivery orders. Great spot for a quick, reliable lunch. Will definitely be back.
Disappointed Long-Time Customer I used to have a 5-star review here, but sadly, I’m updating it after a disappointing experience. I eat at Oporto Erskineville 3–5 times a week and am a Gold member. I always appreciated the convenience and assumed the outdoor seating was part of the shared Park Sydney Village space. I’ve often seen tradies eating outside with food from elsewhere, so I didn’t think twice about sitting with my lunch from Woolworths. The other day, I was approached and asked—very passive-aggressively—to move. I explained I’m a regular customer and thought it was a communal area. I mentioned I wouldn’t be returning, and the response I got was a cold, “That’s fine.” No attempt to retain a loyal customer—just indifference. The manager promised to call me back but never did. I even tried going back again recently: tables were filthy, the outside food situation is still inconsistent, and garlic sauce and sparkling water have been sold out for a month. Considering the consistent 30+ minute wait times, the multiple occasions where my order was handed to someone else (even snatched from my hands!), and now this attitude, it all makes sense why the ratings have dropped. The defensive replies to other reviews now feel very on-brand. Very disappointing. Never again.
If you want a healthier burger option, this place is such a good pick. You don’t feel super heavy afterward, prices are reasonable, and the food comes out really fast. Super satisfying every time — I’ve been here so many times already. I especially love the pineapple in the burger… the salty-sweet combo is unbeatable!
I have lived around the corner from this place for a long time, I felt lazy tonight and thought I’d have a burger. I ended up getting the chicken halloomi wrap and absolutely loved it! The fries were amazing and just the perfect amount of chicken salt. I will definitely be back
Absolutely amazing experience at Oporto! The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavour—especially the chicken, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The burgers and sides were top quality, and everything came out quickly. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided great service with a smile. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, making it a great place to dine in. Definitely one of the best fast-food experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend and will be coming back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
