I always eat here or do takeaway for work. prices went up but it’s understandable but portion and all gone bad. ordered kare kare take away for $18 and there’s no meat, only 2pcs made it look like a lot of meat but it’s all eggplant. Asked for some soup when they usually just charge 50c before now they are charging $2 for it. The taste of the foods are really good that’s why i always come back, back the portion n all are getting bad.
Ang saraaappp esp the kare kare. Super lambot ng beef. Dinuguan was nice too, tho i think they increased the prices, but all worth it. Owner was nice too. This hits home.
I bought an empanada today and it tasted sour and disgusting, like it had gone off. The staff member offered me a refund, which I appreciated, but I had to buy water just to get rid of the taste and was still charged for it. Overall, it was a really unpleasant experience and I wouldn’t buy food from here again.
Its not very often and very reluctant to eat in a filipino restaurant when I'm here at home in Sydney but I thought I'd give this place a try. Its our 2nd time eating here and feel comfortable coming back again and again. Located opposite Blacktown station just down the Main Street escalators. Service is great with friendly staff. Plenty of seating. Freshly cooked food is delicious plus its affordable with 2 choices and a serve of hot white rice for $15. Additional rice is $3 - 3.50. They'll have your favourite pinoy ulams like afritada, adobo, dinuguan, bicol express, kaldereta and more. And my favourite desert halo-halo at $10.
Food is a bit bland. Serving size is decent. If you're craving Filipino food, you might consider other restaurants around the area.
