Went on a Saturday night, walked in when they first open at 5. Very quickly tables were taken. They had few bookings. Ordered the springroll, fried intestines, and the crispy pita sith kare kare and ofcourse have to order garlic rice. I didnt noticed we ordered all fried food 😅. The food came very quick and everything is very delicious. Recommend to try.

Over the past couple of days, my boyfriend and I had been craving good Filipino food, in particular, adobo. Being in North Sydney, quality Filipino food can be hard to come by, so we decided to head out to Marrickville to try Lazza, a place we’ve had our eye on for a while after hearing great things from friends who sing there. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with smiles, great vibes, and the smell of authentic Filipino food. They mentioned that adobo isn’t normally on the menu, and unfortunately they had just run out by the time we arrived but that wasn’t an issue at all. They went out of their way to cook an incredible pork adobo just for us, and wow… it genuinely brought us straight back to the Philippines. On top of that, we had the crispy lechon kawali and the sisig. Both dishes were packed with flavour and tasted incredibly authentic. If you’re looking for good vibes, great company, amazing food, and live singing, we highly recommend a visit to Lazza Marrickville.

My first time trying Filipino food at Lazza Restaurant in Marrickville, and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was very yummy, especially the sisig, which paired perfectly with a cold Red Horse beer – I absolutely loved it. The crew were so friendly and welcoming, and the vibe of the restaurant was amazing, making the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes. Just one warning: don’t eat too much Filipino food in one go because it can be quite rich and fatty! 😄 Overall, a fantastic first Filipino dining experience.

Wife orders me the 'Bistek Tagalog' dish and the menu describes it being topped with "caramelised onions" but had raw, sliced onions on top. I should have looked at the menu photo which actually showed topped with raw sliced onions so my bad. Ordered the 'Leche Flan' for desert and it was brought to the table already packaged for take-away in a plastic container with lid, as if I didn't want to eat it at the table. Wife said all Filipino restaurants do that for this dish so if you order it for desert, be prepared. I guess you can't get any more authentic than that!

A lovely filipino restaurant in Marrickville. Been here a few times and I have found the food to be quite good. Had the pork sisig which was good as I thought they may put more fat than pork meat but glad it was nearly all pork meat. Pork BBQ and the Lechon kuwali were tasty. The Kare Kare was presented well but was quite bland as we had to ask for more shrimp paste to add flavour. The halo halo dessert was generous in size and can feed two. My favourite was their Turon (Fried banana) with the ube ice cream. Perfectly crispy without skimping on the banana. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Some improvements :- We were disappointed one evening, on a Friday night with a 6pm sitting, and they ran out of turon for dessert. Very disappointed that they did not cater for a busy evening. I also do hope their toilet facilities have been fixed as we were surprised that the toilet plumbing wasnt completely functioning. Please do not advertise that there is live entertainment on Fridays when there has never been any entertainment, the 3 times we have eaten there on a Friday evening. The live entertainment was a reason we chose Friday instead of a different evening. Overall, a lovely, quaint and charming filipino restaurant.
