The most I loved about this restaurant was the relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious of course but to be able to fully relax while eating makes a huge difference. Highly recommend the Watan Ultimate dish which comfortably feeds 6 people. The highlight was the delicious dumpling dishes. Shout out to our very friendly young server Mohammed who took care of us for the night.
Today, I enjoyed some truly authentic Afghani food that was surprisingly delightful. The seating area was spacious, and the flavors were incredibly amazing. I genuinely believe this is one of the best Afghani halal restaurants in Sydney for a warm and welcoming dine-in experience.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an incredible dining experience at Vatan Afghan Cuisine! The food looked absolutely amazing and tasted even better. Every dish was fresh, full of authentic Afghan flavours, and beautifully presented. The grilled meats were juicy and perfectly cooked, the rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the portions were incredibly generous. You can really tell they take pride in the quality of their food. Everything was cooked to perfection and packed with flavour. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service made the experience even better. If you're looking for authentic Afghan food with excellent quality and generous servings, I highly recommend Vatan Afghan Cuisine. I'll definitely be back with my family and friends!
Very generous serving with great flavours. The food comes quick and is what I’d consider cheap for what you get. I got the mixed kebab, chicken biryani and many and they were all good. They came quick with bread, salad and yoghurt dips to help with the spices. Do keep an eye out on the serving amounts. I’d say add one more to their suggestions. The also had large serving containers for takeaway. Plenty of street parking and seating as well.
One of the best Afghan food experiences I’ve had at Watan Afghan Cuisine. The lamb skewers were a 10/10 and I’m not even usually a lamb fan. Great presentation and very friendly staff. Highly recommend!
