A group of 4 girls from Malaysia. after we came back from strolling at Balmoral beach, we all ordered fish and chips. We ate in the shop immediately. It tastes fresh, delicious. we took tartar sauce. the fish batter crisp. Halal friendly. Because use vegetable oil, seafood and non-alcoholic batter. Only seafood and vegetable and ice cream and drinks. Customer service good. The cashier who took our order at 5.50pm 28th July 2026 was very responsive to our question (hijabi girls). For served fast and fresh. Thank you so much. Now i understand why this cafe already 37 years old same like my age. Keep it up.
The place looks nice, construction is well built, location is good too. Fairly kid safe with the closed off tables. The staff member serving us was so keen to get rid of us, every time I opened my mouth she'd add it and tell us the price and say "thank you". $50 thank you, $60 thank you, it got to the point where I started ordering slower to see if she'd stop. She did not. It was just plain rude. We paid approximately $70 for 2 fish, calamari and chips, 2 drinks. The fish was incredibly bland and lacked flavour, it literally tasted dry. The crumbs fish was dry and had a weird after taste, the battered fish was just batter and barely any fish. The calamari felt under cooked.
Sydney 's best fish and chips restaurant. Located at Borovilla Beach. All kinds of tasty fish dish available here.Excellent place if you are a seafood lover.
Great fish and chips. Quick service. Good staff. Big portions of food. Outdoor dining with a view of the beach. Lovely atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant.
All the food we ate tasted processed and cooked badly. The fish was dry and tasteless and the calamari was chewie and probably from the freezer, certainly not fresh. For the price we paid, this was well off the mark.. Highly not recommended..
