The price is cheap and portion is good but the grill octopus that was served to me today was strange and unappealing The octopus was burnt and it had this really sour taste- it might be seasoning which I’m not sure of and the fries were soggy.

Had a really positive experience at ‘Fish and Chix’, in Hornsby. My wife has specific dietary needs and we ordered a special meal for her. Mina and Nat were both attentive, friendly, and focused on making sure everything went smoothly. They took the time to check my wife’s needs, created a very welcoming atmosphere and made sure the order was exactly right! The food itself was excellent; fresh, well-prepared, and great value. You can tell there’s care taken not just in the kitchen, but in how customers are looked after front-of-house as well 🙂 What stood out most was the service. Mina and Nat worked together and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back again.

Had the grilled chicken burger combo…it was just okay. The burger had too much mayo, which made it a bit soggy. Staff were friendly, and for $8.95 it was fine, but I wouldn’t hurry back.

Chips not cooked through, also minimal amount, fish is below par and crumbs overcooked. Won’t be doing that again , in the bin.

I usually love coming to this place and never have a problem, but my most recent visit was bad. Firstly, I had a quite severe allergic reaction from biting a chicken burger which I've never had before! Secondly, the buns on the burger were burnt as well as the chicken and I only got one tiny piece when they usually give at least two. They also forgot part of my order and needed to be reminded. Very disappointed as they usually have good quality food but this time was not it.
