Overall, I would visit again for the tiramisu. Food: We ordered the miso salmon bowl, baby octopus and the kids fish and chips. The salmon was really good and so was the octopus. The irony is that we had searched for the top fish and chips place and this restaurant popped up with 5 star reviews. Well, the fish and chips (particularly the fish) was the weakest thing we tried. The tiramisu was out of this world good. Not sure if it's made in house though. Service: the lady at the front was neither pleasant nor welcoming. It was a complete turnoff for me. She also plated my salad with no gloves or hair net 😳 Ambience: super casual dining, with outdoor sitting. $$: affordable and worth it for the delicious food.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing food and everything was fresh and delicious. Customer service was pretty good and staff were friendly. The only small issue was that one of our orders was missing, so we had to wait again — it wasn’t too long, but it would help if orders were repeated back to avoid this. Overall, great experience and the food was amazing. Would definitely return.
For the location and city, the food was cheap. This is one of the best fish and chips I have had in the country. It was nice and fresh, the wait (around 15 minutes) was well worth it. I was able to taste the freshness in the fish, which cannot be said about the fish and chips I am used to back in my rural town. We arrived just when they were beginning for the afternoon, that likely helped a lot. Overall, this is a nice somewhat hidden location in The Rocks and well worth a visit.
Can't get any "batter" than this! I love my fnc and this place certainly hits the spot! Fluffy, crispy fish with uber-fresh fish. Crispy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside fries covered with delectable chicken salt. Calamari was cooked perfectly and not too chewy. Loved it and would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat!
Food is delicious! The seller is super duper kind and patience. She kindly explained to me what is in each menu and what type of fish. She also let me choose the salt. Location is easy to find as well. Will come back when I’m back in Sydney ✨
