I'm a frequent visitor to "The Canteen" when in Darling Harbour/Barangaroo as it offers a great variety of eating options that generally are quick, convenient, healthy and not in the business of blowing people's budgets. There is also plenty of seating available whenever I have visited with adjacent restrooms that are clean and equally convenient making "The Canteen" a genuine "one-stop shop" when in this part of Sydney. I tried the lunchtime Nasi dish last time I was there (not sure what the Malaysian noodle shop front is called) but thought it really packed a punch for under $20. Super tasty and authentic.

Located at Tower Two International Towers Sydney, 200 Barangaroo Avenue, Sydney , New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This is a wonderful place to come to when you’re not sure 🤔 what you want and would like a few suggestions. There is a fantastic selection of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. If you want to eat on the sidewalk or inside at the communal tables you couldn’t complain about the choice. For example there’s Spago for Italian 🇮🇹, Astro for Modern Asian BBQ, Belles for Hot Chicken 🍗, Born by Tapavino for Spanish 🇪🇸, Callao for Japanese 🇯🇵, Kokumai for Sushi 🍣, Lotus for Chinese 🇨🇳, Muum Maam for Thai 🇹🇭 and Old Town for Hong Kong 🇭🇰 cuisine and many more. If you wanted to go to a bar or restaurant, there’s also a great selection. For example, there’s The Butcher’s Block, Spiced by Billu’s , Torotoro Ramen Bar and more. There’s so many options to choose from that I highly doubt that anyone would come out hungry. It’s a very short walk from Wynyard Station 🚉 and also from the Ferry ⛴️ Wharf where you can get a ferry. It can get very busy, especially at lunch so seating can fill up quickly. Like anywhere in the city, parking 🅿️ is limited and expensive. I really like coming here because I like the choice. I never have been disappointed with my visits. Would definitely recommend. Thumbs Up!!! 😊👍😋👍

They have a wide variety of salads and meats. Great tasting salmon. If you want fish and salad this is the best choice in the food court. They sell protein with one or two sides for under $20

Great food court with amazing food outlets. It has a right mix of all kinds of food including Japanese, Malaysian, Lebanese, Thai, Normal continental, Salad & Pastry shop. It is a convenient place if you are working around Barangaroo. It is convenient and (relatively) cheap option for visitors and tourists as well. Highly recommended.

Had a quick breakfast here. At Allpress Espresso. Coffee is good. And the venue and surroundings are great.
