"Feed the man meat" ...really Check this out ... Our first crepe meal experience was very good. We walked in and greeted by a friendly French lass ... Service was top notch and the young french waitress was charmingly patient and friendly with the country Hubby who tried to explain that he wanted a hearty beef meal but eventually settled for duck gallette... thank you for being so accomodating and humouring him... We had iced chocolate and a lovely chai latte ... service came in good time and with lovely smiles .... it took us back to Paris (an amazing holiday off the main road where we saw people lined up in a small side street... we didnt know what was going on but joined the line anyway ... and ended up dining in the most exquisite restaurant... no one spoke a word of Enlish and we had to draw on the placemats to communicate and had the most amazing evening ... ahh... memories that bring a smile to your face) Back to now... 'Four Frogs'@Randwick Took us back there to the real deal .... On presentation he didn't think much of his meal, as enormous as it was, and didn't think it would fill him but he rolled it up and enjoyed it greatly. My chicken gallette was gigantic too and way too much for me ... so very tasty and filling... so he got more. We got a double banana split pancake too also generously served to share ... The Cafe atmoshere was cosy and quaint ... very friendly and warm ... it was reasonable pricey but worth such a nice experience... we will definitely dine there again ... maybe see a movie too ... and pop in for a breakky during our stay. On leaving the man said he was full ... that's always a good sign ...and we would happily highly recommend it ... our overall experience was excellent...Thank you 11/10 !!
1st time here. And I am not much of a crepe guy. To me, crepe is no more than just pancake with toppings. Taste is good because it’s not too sweet, so it’s quite refreshing. A bit pricey. I would spend the same amount of money for a good piece of cheese cake, at a drop of a hat. Maybe next time I will try their savoury crepe for a change. Noise level is still ok. At least I didn’t use my ear plugs here. Service is lovely, care & warm enough but not overbearing.
Always fabulous. There is an extensive menu with plenty of both sweet & savoury options. The crepes and galettes are fantastic and they are really great at accommodating food allergies & dietary restrictions. They are also licensed for those that want to indulge in a cocktail or bubbly - the mulled cider in winter is delicious. The flambee is a fun experience. I've never been disappointed no matter which flavour combo I go for. Keep an eye on the specials board for the monthly temporary toppings. It can get quite busy so it's good to book a table but at certain times of the day it can be easy to get seated as a walk-in. Reasonable prices.
Superb experience here. We were an early walk in and were greeted with a smile and seated promptly. The menu was extensive and allowed each of us to select a suitable meal (we have several food allergies, the waitress checked on ingredients for us). The galettes were all so tasty, i had the smoked salmon and really appreciated the French focus on quality rather than quantity. Highly recommended
Absolutely loved it here. Delicious desserts and drinks especially the Amaretto Sour was amazing. The great atmosphere and super friendly service rounded it all up. We had the Apple Crumble crepe and biscoff (biscoff lacked a little bit of something to elevate it to the same level as the apple crepe and was a bit bland in comparison but maybe because the apple one was just so amazing). Will definitely come back to try other flavours since every single one sounds very promising and the whole experience was just lovely.
