A really chill and nice restaurant for lunch! Visited on a chilly day so sitting inside was really cosy and the lighting was so nice at concourse. The place is French-inspired so the interior feels really clean and fancy We ordered the steak frites, and it was perfectly cooked to medium rare. Also love the shoestring fries which we so crispy and were seasoned so well We also tried the Creamy Mushroom Risotto which you can add chicken. The taste is really homey and has so much flavour with the parsley and garlic sauce. However, i think you can order another dish instead as this tasted a bit more like porridge than risotto with its particular flavours and ingredients Ooo and if you want a fancy-ish drink for the casual meal, DEFINITELY recommend the lychee rose iced tea. It was super pleasant and not toooo sweet as an iced tea, also pairing nicely with the dishes

Visited Smoque Brasserie with my family and we had a lovely experience. The restaurant is located at The Concourse, right next to Chatswood Library, with both indoor and semi-outdoor seating. The ambience is cosy, relaxed, and perfect for a casual meal. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was amazing. Our favourites were the Mushroom & Steak Crêpe, the creamy Mushroom Risotto, and the Crab Pasta. They also have kids menu and we ordered fish and chips from the menu. We shared the Apple Crumble for dessert, which was delicious! warm crumble paired with the cold ice cream made for the perfect finish. Overall, it’s a great spot whether you’re taking a break from shopping, meeting friends or family, or looking for a nice lunch or dinner in Chatswood. Will be back :)

A hidden gem in Chatswood! Beautiful atmosphere, friendly service, and every dish we ordered was fantastic. The escargots in garlic butter were surprisingly good, the signature short rib was tender and full of flavour, and the mushroom risotto was rich, creamy, and very generous in portion. The tiramisu was the perfect way to end the meal—light, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Definitely one of the best French restaurants we’ve tried in Sydney. Looking forward to coming back!

Had such a lovely dining experience here! The overall quality of the food was excellent — everything we ordered was well-executed and full of flavor. The oysters were especially impressive, incredibly fresh and perfectly served. The wine selection was also great and paired beautifully with the dishes. For mains, every plate was satisfying and thoughtfully prepared — you can really tell the kitchen pays attention to detail. The ambiance is another highlight. It’s elegant yet relaxed, making it a perfect spot for a girls’ night or a catch-up with friends. Would definitely come back again!

My top recommendations are the Steak & Mushroom Crepe 🫓 and the Asian Crunchy Salad with Grilled Chicken! 🥗 The first is a savory and flavorful crepe with a wonderfully layered texture. The crepe itself is incredibly soft, and the steak and mushrooms inside are a delightful combination. The spinach is a perfect finishing touch, making it not too greasy. The second is a refreshing option, ideal for those on a diet. The vegetables are crisp, the grilled chicken is tender with a nice caramelized crust, and the sauce is rich yet light and refreshing, leaving you feeling light and satisfied. For a main course, the Seafood Spaghetti is a safe bet. The bouncy squid 🦑 and shrimp 🍤 are simply irresistible! 🤤
