The steak was absolutely delicious—tender, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. The mustard cream mushroom and red wine jus were a great touch. But for $52 with sauce, the portion was small… the fillet barely bigger than the mushroom. Still, the quality was undeniable, and the taste alone earns it five stars. Just don’t come hungry expecting a big pub-style feed.

Beautiful local pub with an extensive menu serving some really delicious food. The calamari was absolutely outstanding and the most tender I have had in ages. The porchetta had a beautiful crisp skin and tender inside. Hanger steak was tender and soft inside with a great rub packed full of flavour. Looking forward to a couple of those schnitzels and the awesome looking new menu.

People had raved about the fish and chips so we decided to give the Four in Hand a try. The chips were good. The fish Ok. My husband is a connoisseur of fish and chips. He was unimpressed. I had the green salad, promised with buffalo mozzarella and spring onions of which not a skerrick could be found. $18 dollars for a modestly-sized bowl of lettuce and avocado is steep. The staff seemed rushed and unhappy. My sister asked for a takeaway container. None could be found. She asked for some aluminum foil. There was none in the kitchen (really?). She was given a paper bag.

Great food, generous servings - great quality pub food. A bit higher on the scale price wise but not exorbitant. A great local pub with finer meal options. Worth checking out - it definitely would be quite busy in the evenings so I’d suggest making a reservation.

Not your typical pub foods, they taste even better than it’s looks! We just had Easter lunch special, totally Devine!!! Pork Knuckles is crispy beyond believe👍🏻
