Disappointing pub grub I was looking forward to a nice pub lunch unfortunately this did not happen. I ordered the Guinness sausage pie, definitely not a pie a few pieces of meat the rest mainly mushrooms and . gravy served in a dish with pastry on top a very poor excuse for a pie $28.00 a Joke! Others said their food was ordinary as well and a very unprofessional server who made you feel like you were not welcome . The pub is good bar staff friendly and efficient also Carlton draught on tank. Good for a drink no good for food.

Celebrated my 50th birthday at the Rose of Australia and couldn’t have chosen a better venue. We started in the private Vineyard area, which was perfect for our group, then headed into the main bar where the DJ kept everyone dancing all night. The cocktails were fantastic, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was brilliant from afternoon through to the evening. A great local pub that’s perfect for any celebration. Highly recommend

Came for the ‘top 10 in nsw’ nachos. Place is very pretty. Nachos were pretty good. The wooden tables are very sticky. I think you guys are using the wrong chemical on them.

We had our engagement party at the Rose, it was just wonderful and Clare was such a delight to work with The staff especially Brendan on the day were so fantastic, friendly and really made our whole experience special I truly couldn’t recommend the Rose anymore!!

Reserved a room here for the after party of our wedding/anniversary. Everything was perfect! The owners are a married couple & they’re the nicest people. I felt like we were the only ones there that were regulars, and I’d randomly chat to people who knew the owners by name and sang their praise. Anyways, we booked a room for 40 people and ordered some food (not a lot, probably less than a bar would hope 40 people would order). The owner didn’t require a credit card, a deposit, or a minimum spend. They customised a beautiful sign for us, kept staff coming through to keep the area clean while not being overly present. Food was excellent. Oh my god, the sliders! Also, everyone said the fish & chips were to die for. This was my first time there but can’t wait to come back. It’s about as beautiful as a bar can get before it’s a snobby high end overpriced establishment
