I visited Winghaus on my own and had a really enjoyable meal. I ordered the wings and a steak, and both were cooked well and full of flavour. The standout for me was the wings. If you're considering the spicy option, take the heat level seriously—it packs a genuine kick and isn't just "mildly spicy" for the sake of the name. The steak was also well prepared, tender, and satisfying, making it a good choice if you're after something more substantial than bar snacks. The venue has a great atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor seating available depending on what you prefer. It feels lively without being overwhelming, making it suitable whether you're dining solo, catching up with friends, or watching live sport. Service was efficient, and I didn't have to wait long for my food despite the venue being fairly busy. Overall, Winghaus delivers good food, a relaxed atmosphere, and decent value. I'd happily return to try more of the menu, but next time I'll think twice before underestimating the spicy wings!
We ordered the habanero wings and the sweet potato fries, among others. And when they said that it’s spicy — it actually is, which most often not the case in Sydney where things are often not. We loved the food and price is also great. Winghaus has almost become a default place to eat for us in the past few weeks.
The wings taste good but I got food poisoned and stayed in bed for two days. Ive been vomiting and having a fever few hours after I ate here. I didn’t have any other food the day except winghaus. 12 Dec update: I honestly can’t believe they sent me such a ChatGPT style message on instagram without even asking if my friends and me are ok. I’ve been sick for a week now. I never asked for any compensation and I’m not after money, all I want is their investment and improvement on food safety/hygiene.

Stopped by Winghaus for a quick lunch and really enjoyed it. The portions were generous, the food came out fast, and everything tasted great. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Great spot for a casual meal in Barangaroo — will definitely come back again.
